General

We service Cupertino, Saratoga, South Sunnyvale & surrounding cities.
Yes. However, we charged an extra $2.00 per mile outside of the service area.
All Kids Kab vehicles are marked with our Kids Kab logo Also, every driver will be wearing a polo shirt with the Kids Kab logo and will display a picture badge.
Yes. However some traffic and weather conditions, along with tardy students, may cause the driver to be slightly late.
The driver will first contact the office dispatcher who will then contact the student's school to ensure the student was present. If the student was present, the dispatcher will then contact the parent. Should the parent be unreachable, the dispatcher will then contact the given emergency contact. The driver will not leave until the whereabouts of the child is known. If the school attendant informs the dispatcher that the student was NOT in class, the driver will be instructed to leave and a call to the parents will be made.
At times, there maybe only one child on board. However, it depends on how many children from your child's school also use our service.
Your child will be dropped off according to the route which has been assigned.
Yes, if requested. If not requested, the driver will wait until he/she sees that the child safely makes it indoors.
We try to keep the same driver on the same route but cannot guarantee it.
We conduct criminal background checks, fingerprinting and drug tests on all of our drivers. Once hired, drivers are put into a random drug testing pool mandated by the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
All drivers carry a CDL "class C". Most of our drivers have a "class B" "Commercial license" with a "(P) passenger endorsement" along with a "Youth Bus Certification" issued by CHP. All drivers are CPR & First Aid certified as well.
Yes. Every Kids Kab vehicle has a safety belt for each available seat. We also have boosters and car seats available as mandated by the State of California VC 27360.
Yes, The driver inspects his/her vehicle at the beginning of every shift. We are also mandated by CHP to have our vehicle inspected by a certified auto technician every 45 days.
We carry a "Passenger Stage License" as well as a "Charter Party License".
Yes. We are fully insured, which is a mandated requirement by the CHP
We pre-bill a month in advance. Invoices are issued a week or two before the beginning of each month. Our preferred method of payment is by Visa or Master Card. If paying by check, the due date is the 5th of the statement month.

Airport Shuttle

San Jose (SJC) is our preferred airport. However, we will go to San Francisco (SFO) and Oakland (OAK), as well.
The rate is $95.00 per child for one way. If your child is flying as an unaccompanied minor we are required to receive the child at the gate; hence, there will be an additional $45.00 charge. Upon departure, if your child is flying as an unaccompanied minor, we are required to escort them to the gate; hence, there will be an additional $95.00 charge.
The rate is $125.00 per child for one way. If your child is flying as an unaccompanied minor we are required to receive the child at the gate; hence, there will be an additional $45.00 charge. Upon departure, if your child is flying as an unaccompanied minor, we are required to escort them to the gate; hence, there will be an additional $95.00 charge.
The rate is $175.00 per child for one way. If your child is flying as an unaccompanied minor, we are required to receive the child at the gate; hence, there will be an additional $45.00 charge. Upon departure, if your child is flying as an unaccompanied minor, we are required to escort them to the gate; hence, there will be an additional $95.00 charge.
Upon arrival, the driver will wait at the international terminal with the passenger's name card. Upon departure, we will walk your child to the check-in counter and help him or her with check in. We are not allowed to leave until 30 minutes prior to departure time; where, at that point, an airport attendant will escort your child to the gate.
The rate for an arriving international flight is $170.00 per child for one-way transport. The rate for a departing international flight is $220.00 per child for one-way transport.
Upon arrival, we will meet your child at baggage claim. Upon departure, we will walk your child to the check-in counter, help him or her check in, then walk your child to the security area, at which time, we will leave.
Yes! We can pickup or drop off your child with a relative, friend, or at any other location, if requested. This can be accommodated for an hourly rate of $95.00.
Credit card payment is the preferred method. We accept Visa and Master Card. Gratuity is not required; however, it is appreciated.
Yes! The driver will help with baggage and ensure that your child is buckled in and comfortable before driving off.
Yes! We will make sure the child is received by an adult camp counselor before leaving.
Not necessarily, it depends on which driver is scheduled to drive that day.
Yes! That information will be given to you a week prior to the flight.

Go to http://kidskab.com and click on "Register Your Child Today" then click on the Airport Transportation Form. Fill out and submit the form. Your form will then be sent to the scheduler where the ride can be scheduled and a phone call will follow.
